(71/100) Gender Roles

A2
Understanding Gender Roles in Society
125 words

In many countries, gender roles are changing. Traditionally, men were seen as the providers, while women took care of the home and children. However, today, more women are working in different jobs. Men also help at home and with children. This change is because of education and women’s rights movements. More girls are in school now than ever before. They have the chance to study and work in all types of jobs. Meanwhile, men are encouraged to share household tasks. For example, many fathers now cook dinner or help with homework. This new way is important for families and societies. It allows both men and women to support each other. As we change our views on gender, we can create a better world for everyone.
