The people of Egypt believed in many gods and goddesses. They thought these gods helped them in daily life. Hieroglyphics was their writing system, using pictures to tell stories. Today, we learn about Ancient Egypt in schools. Museums show us many things from that time. It is exciting to think about how people lived so long ago.
