Hercules is a famous hero from Greek mythology. He was known for his incredible strength and brave heart. As a child, Hercules had a difficult life. He was born as the son of Zeus, the king of the gods. However, Hera, Zeus's wife, was very angry and sent two snakes to attack him. But Hercules was not afraid. He killed the snakes with his bare hands! Later in life, Hercules had to complete twelve challenging tasks. These tasks were given to him as a punishment. One of his tasks was to clean the Augean stables in one day! Hercules was very clever. He dug a new river to wash the stables. Another task was to capture the Golden Hind, a beautiful deer. He chased it for a whole year before he caught it. Hercules became a symbol of strength and courage. His stories are still popular today. Many people love to read about the adventures of Hercules. His courage teaches us to be brave even in hard times.
